Its very early in the morning on Friday for me in Australia.
Its a great feeling that everyones up there.
What did it mean for you to get nominated for this part in particular?
I loved playingThe Night Manager, and Im so proud ofThe Night Manager.
It was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my short life as an actor.
That combination was so fascinating.
But I digress because its 4 in the morning.
I poured my whole soul into Jonathan Pine, and Im so proud that its been nominated.
There was some talk aboutThe Night Managerpossibly continuing.
Where did that conversation leave off?
Truthfully, I think it is still in the lap of le Carre himself.
Thats all I know for now.
So are you celebrating today or just getting beat up by a Hemsworth for 12 hours?
Im going to sleep for a bit, and then yes, Im going to go onto set.
It is actually a fight day tomorrow.
I dont think Im fighting specifically him, however.
But thats all I will tell you.
How long have you been shooting?
Ive been here for 10 days.
Were really just at the beginning.
I think they officially started filming just last week.
Im having such a good time.
Hes really been so attentive over the screenplay.
Its a hell of a cast.
Its got quite a lineup.
There are some heavy hitters in the lineup, and not everyone is here yet.
Its Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Tessa Thompson, and myself.
Weve got some others coming.
Thus far, its really fun.
And also, its been three years since Ive played.
I think I last wore the costume at Comic-Con in 2013.
It was 2012 when we wrappedThe Dark World.
