But then, at the very last second, Sasha decided tonotput a bullet into Father Gabriels brain.

People had had enough of Father Gabriel at that point, says Martin-Green.

And ending in a prayer I thought was so well-written and so poignant.

So I think that was a turning point for him as well.

But how much of a turning point was it for Sasha?

We saw her in the season premiere telling Abraham that she was no longer harboring a death wish.

Has a definitive change happened in Sasha because of that mercy she showed Gabriel?

One-hundred percent a change has happened, says Martin-Green.

As Sasha, I did not roll over and die.

I refused to be consumed by it.

And I was consumed for a long time.

I have realized that I was crazy, that I was acting like a crazy person, she said.

The veil has been lifted.

Ive seen the light, if you will.

And Im ready to honor Tyreese and honor Bob and serve this community.

If they can keep the community of Alexandria together, that is.
