There is a lot of doubt among the Alexandrians about Rick.
Why is it important that Aaron stand up for him there?
And it was only a matter of time before this came to our door.
How much blame is Aaron putting on himself here for what went down?
He puts total blame on himself.
I know where this place is!
And thats what motivates his actions for the rest of the episode.
Why does Aaron insist on going with her?
Is it just feeling restless after what happened and needing to do something to make the situation better?
Its a restlessness brought on by complete guilt and shame.
Hes the person who brought them into the walls in the first place.
Hes responsible for them.
I really want to go out there and help you.
And its pretty clear as time goes on how risky that idea really is.
Lets talk about that sewer scene.
What was filming that like?
We have the best crew.
What they were able to do constructing that sewer it was the entire length of the soundstage.
It looked just disgusting just the mass of God knows what ground up and thrown in there.
We thought from the moment we stepped into it that it was the real thing.
It was so much fun.
It was one of my favorite episodes to shoot so far, truthfully.
So they just looked hideous the way their bodies had decayed at that point.
So that was actually really tough to do that scene.
For me, Im a fan too and I want to know as much as anyone else.
I thought it was great.
I also thought continuity was going to be a pain in the butt.
It just makes for brilliant storytelling.
Well, were about a third of the way through the season now and hes still alive!
And I hope he does stay alive.
Truthfully, of all the Alexandrians, Aaron and Eric have seen the most action.
Theyve been outside the walls the longest.
But they tried to kill him, so he fought back.
