Coming back to life it’s all the rage.
We finally know the answer to the mystery!
No, not the mystery of whom Carolines fiance is.

Or what made Damon and Alaric enemies.
Or where Alarics TWINS came from.
And, no, not whom the mysterious vampire huntress is.
Or where Bonnie is three years from now.
None of those mysteries are solved.
We know why Damon drinks bourbon and thats a step in the direction of solving all these mysteries.
So lets get to it!
Alaric is still 100 percent focused on raising his wife from the dead.
The morgue guy hes been paying off says today is the last day for Jo to stay there.
Bonnie needs to use the Phoenix stone now or never.
Lucky for everyone, Damon finds Oscars desiccated body which will make a perfect test subject.
Damon has a vested interest in Oscar coming back to life because Lily knows he went after him.
However, she doesnt know that Valerie killed him.
And she will only give back Elenas casket if he trades Oscar.
Lily might not have figured out what Valerie did, but Enzo knows something is up.
After being cast out of family business yet again, he decides to do something about it.
He tracks down the only cop left in Mystic Falls: Matt Donovan in full-on police gear now.
He asks him to see the towns security footage.
She spills off camera everything she knows about Julian, whom Enzo has never heard of.
Meanwhile, Lily isnt waiting around for Damon to drop off Oscar.
She sends her minions Mary Louise and Nora to find him.
Shes not used to being affectionate in public (Try being gay in 1900).
Angel Caroline, who apparently had already planned on attending the party, is on patrol duty with Stefan.
Theyre pretty good at it Stefan saves three lives until they get into an argument about Valerie.
During this spat, Nora and Mary Lou escape.
Mary Lou stumbles upon this and gets so upset that she rips out the bartenders heart.
Still hard at work in the morgue, Bonnie finally gets the right spell to reanimate Oscar.
You are officially the most terrifying person I know, Damon says.
All of this was done so Caroline and Stefan could finally hookup… so romantic.
before Lily tracks him down.
Before picking up her son, Lily had to explain to not-quite-family Enzo who Julian was.
She said he was a saint, and Enzo doesnt believe it based on what Valerie told him.
So Valerie and Enzo team up and decide to take down Julian … this should be interesting.
(Poor Tyler, even leaving Mystic Falls didnt stop him from being everyones errand boy.)
So could this explain part of this episodes flash-forward?
And then an old friend named Damon Salvatore shows up at the door.
Ric is not welcoming one bit, he just asks who died.
Damon says no one… yet.
Seriously what is happening!
