There are no definitive lines.
Sand and sea and sky blur together.
Its a liminal space, an in-between place where one thing transforms into another.

Sarah cant distinguish her dreams from her waking life.
And Hawk and Eddie are still vacillating between faith and belief.
All of them are in a place thats neither here nor there.
Soon, theyll have to choose sides.
You might not be entirely sure if what youre seeing exists only inside Cals head or if its real.
Last week, when Cal killed Silas, I wondered if the whole thing mightve just been a vision.
There are cops all around him.
What would Cal have done if Isaiah caught him with a giant human burrito slung over his shoulder?
I can just imagine it: Oh, you meanthishuman burrito?
Well, its required for a top-secret 7R procedure.
Youll understand once youre enlightened.
The hypnotic mood continues as we segue into Sarahs dream.
Shes walking down a road when she sees Hawk with his headphones on.
Theres a truck coming up behind him.
Later, when Sarah spots the same idol in her office, she starts to get suspicious.
Was Silas there? Her mother warns her about interpreting the dream too literally.
Youre not just you in your dreams, she says.
Or is her mother right, and its just a warning that all the Meyerists are in danger?
Whatever that truck symbolizes, its coming for everyone.
And its looking more and more likely that Sarahs the only one capable of protecting them.
After last weeks uplifting sermon, everyones already treating Sarah as if shes their new leader.
She even performs what looks like a miracle, literally breathing the life back into Nicoles baby.
Right now, peopleneedto believe in her, especially since Cal has been MIA.
To her, hes the real savior.
We are going to be a powerful force in the world, she tells him.
Its all coming true.
NEXT: Eddies seeing ghosts
But will that powerful force necessarily be a good thing?
Lets just hope that this season doesnt lead him to the most spiritual ending of all: death.
Thats how Eddies brothers story ended, after all.
Hawk thinks its fate.
You could view that response as romantic, or you could view it as sad.
Sarah does for Eddie what Meyerism is supposed to do for him.
And right now, his feelings about Meyerism are plagued with doubt.
(Apparently, cell phones are verboten during spiritual quests.)
While Hawk is away, Eddie has a vision of his brother wandering around the shore.
Are we meant to believe that Eddie feels lighter and freer once he sees his brother?
Or is it that Eddie is dangerously close to joining his brother?
While Eddies away on his walkabout, Cal tries to make out with Sarah.
When she spurns his advances, he nearly tells her the truth about Silas.
He ends up warning her about Eddie instead: Theres something Eddie hasnt told Sarah.
And thats true but not in the way she suspects.
The episode ends with Sarah finding an unfamiliar number Alisons in Eddies cell phone log.
We know the truth about why its there.
Eddies not going to get a warm welcome once he gets home.
