Elijah, only slightly annoyed, then said, Thats not what I meant.

I mean, watching immortal creatures bicker over worthless human lives is just the best.

So is this show.

Okay, Im done.

See Klaus, you shouldve let Freya take a break like she wanted.

Klaus finally learns of Freyas kidnapping after visiting Hayley, whos spending her days at Jacksons grave.

Basically, they buried his heart under a sapling so that they have a place to visit.

But to figure out what that binding agent is, she needs someone who knew Esther.

(Except a matter of minutes later she brings Kol back anyway.

More on that later.)

(Spoiler: School = Marcels fighting gym for a lesson in self-acceptance and self-defense.)

Elijah is to investigate a cabin they found while Klaus follows the scent of Freyas blood through the woods.

As Klaus promises his brother, Aurora dies today.

As for Elijah, he simply finds her choice of using a gun as theatrical and tasteless as ever.

(You have to love that thats the kind of insult that gets to these sophisticated villains.)

At least thats her plan.

That way, Klaus is able to locate her and get back to the cabin.

Speaking of the cabin, Elijah is currently psychoanalyzing Aurora, who thinks hes behind her breakup with Klaus.

As he puts it, You do realize that youre utterly insane?

(Talk about a double standard.)

But Aurora claims this isnt about Klaus.

Only the love of family is unbreakable.

It is the only love worth fighting for, she tells Elijah.

And when she runs, its Klaus who chases after her.

(So yeah, shes on my bad list.)

But when she wont, she eventually figures out what she needs to complete the spell.

With the Sisters listening in, Davina realizes she needs the heart of an unsired vampire.

Thankfully, Kol comes up with a plan to channel the magic of the candle to knock Davina out.

If shes linked to the Sisters, theyll go down as well.

Marcel tries to stop her why does it feel like shes his leader and not the other way around?

and convinces her to give him until midnight to find another solution.

Its then that they realize there is one other heart they could use for the spell: Jacksons.

When Hayley and Jackson participated in the unification ceremony, it made his heart a mirror image of hers.

(I love that it wasnt the other way around.)

Davina assures her it will work.

Oh, and can we talk about Davinas goodbye to Kol?

He told her to let him go, but she wont, right?

That goodbye was too much for my heart to take.

Also, that was one fast-burning candle.

At the compound, Klaus is whittling a new toy for his daughter when Freya enters.

Simple, but effective.

As Aya so cleverly puts it, I suspect our worlds can change with a bang.

Translation: Give me the gun, Aurora.

Youre a terrible shot.
