But rather than kill him, she wants to make a deal.

And thats how you do a maddening yet sensible cliffhanger.

Of course season 1 has seen its fair share of cliffhangers.

Not every episode has been a success.

At times the show has been messy in its search of themes, characterization, and more.

And its a conclusion that hews so closely to the novels penchant for darkness.

This adaptation makes no attempts to hide both the good and bad facets of its characters.
