And he narrates it through rhyme, through rap.
And this character, as it turns out, is played onstage in kinda sorta Madison Square Garden.
And so Nas has been this other huge creative force in the production.

And its been playing really, really successfully.
Luhrmann described these rhymes as somewhere between pure rap, narration, and sort of Greek chorus comment.
He added, We werent sure about it when we began, and we couldnt do without it now.
And [Nas has] been fantastic in that regard.
