Meanwhile, Stiles gets Parrish on board to drive the van into Eichen.
So when Scott and Stiles run into Theo in the library, Theo offers to help get Lydia out.
After all, the chimeras wont be stopped by the mountain ash barrier inside Eichen.
And if Scott doesnt accept their help?
Well, they better hope they get to Lydia first.
So whats with Theos interest in Lydia?
As Scott says, he probably figured out that maybe shes the only one who could actually save us.

They head elsewhere just as Malia gives Kira the pep talk she needs.
Reminding her that this isnt about her, she says, Its about Lydia.

(Did she really need the explanation that Lydia is their friend?)
Regardless, it works.
And after Scott hits Liam a few times to make him angry it works.
Only, when he gets to Lydia, he discovers that hes too late.
Theres already a hole in her head.
Lydia begs Stiles to leave, claiming, Youre going to die if you stay, all of you.
Just then, Valack rounds the corner, causing Stiles to hide.
But when Scott sees his beta in pain, he goes into full alpha mode.
In this moment, Scott rises up.
He and Liam both rise up, taking out the guards.
As Scott proclaims, Come on, were getting Lydia out of here.
And of course thats where the episode ends, becauseTeen Wolfknows how to leave us wanting more.
In exchange, he promises to tell her about the talons Theo got from the Desert Wolf.
But when she doesnt let him out, he tells her anyway.
Man, this bad guys lost his touch (unless this is all a manipulation?).
In other words, if Theo puts them on, hell die.
