Allen now faces one additional misdemeanor count each of simple battery and vandalism under $400.

After that incident, a criminal protective order was issued, which prohibited him from communicating with his girlfriend.

According to the prosecutors, Allen allegedly attacked and strangled his girlfriend on April 13.

At this time, Allen also faces two misdemeanor counts of disobeying a domestic relations criminal protective order.

Prosecutors plan to ask for $270,000 bail.

If convicted, Allen is looking at a maximum sentence of over ten years in a state prison.
