SF: Alright, lets hear it.

Were friends, sort of.

It was an oversight.

I invited you as soon as I realized, and you refused to attend.

3.You are only mentioning this fiasco because you want to point out in a public forum that Im 50.

And finally….

4.

You were a terrific director.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with you on this episode.

Because you know the show and the cast so well, you were able to jump right in.

I noticed how confident you were on the set.

You seemed to know exactly what you wanted to do with the camera, the blocking, the performances.

As an actor, I just need you to be present, listen, and throw the ball back.

But as a director I need all of that and more and you all delivered.

JM: Speaking of throwing the ball back.

What was with that baseball you carried around with you while you directed?

Its something that I adopted the first time that I directed wow nearly 20 years ago.

Anyway, back to the episode …

This was a huge part of the episode, the whole first act as a matter of fact.

As did our crew!

SF: Id never say that.

But Im glad that you did.

I really liked these scenes with you guys.

JM: For me too.

Those were the first scenes I shot with you.

I give you high marks for the way you deal with actors.

Its a fine line that a good director has to walk.

SF: I didnt have to worry about you for a second.

Whatever your motivation may be you were a pro on that day.

Not just any help but his help.

JM: Hit me with it.

All of this stuff comes into play.

But….I got shut down.

Well, you’re able to clearly see in the scene, there is no horse.

(See pic of me and the pony.)

JM: Good story.

Wish you had called me.

I would have gone halvesies on a horse.

SF: It is what it is.

Well three, but Jake eating chicken is just a selfish pleasure and shouldnt count.

The first is the great scene between Kerry and Tony in her office.

The dynamic of working with these two on such a meaty scene was enthralling.

I couldnt have asked for anything more.

I just loved it.

I hope you all did too.

Thats all Ive got to say about this.

JM: You did good, bro.
