From there, police unions across the countrycalled for a boycott against Tarantinos films.

The director elaborated and clarified his sentiments from the rallyin an interview with theLos Angeles Times.

Im not being intimidated, Tarantino told the paper.

Frankly, it feels lousy to have a bunch of police mouthpieces call me a cop hater.

Im not a cop hater.

That is a misrepresentation.

That is not how I feel.

But you know, thats their choice to do that to me.

What can I do?

Im not taking back what I said.

What I said was the truth.
