The designers hit the streets of New York to find inspiration for ‘Seventeen’ magazine.

Peytie and Jaxson seem to have the worst time.
They cant get anyone to even look their direction as they timidly say, hi.
Samanthas got this, though.
After finding their street fashion, the designers learn that the winning look will be featured inSeventeenmagazine.
Peytie has a pants, top, and jacket combination that has Tim concerned.
Once Peytie hears that and sees it, she cant unsee it…
The problem is she doesnt have any other fabric to choose from.
Jaxson is in a similar predicament.
Hes using white (apparently he didnt learn from Bridget), and Tim thinks its too basic.
Theyre all so supportive of one another, even in confessionals.
Aya is the only judge who likesZacharys too-mature look.
And now all the judges see it, too.
Christian wishes that the whole look had been more youthful because the girls ofSeventeenmagazine wouldnt wear this.
Aya says its too basic and missed the mark.
Peyties pant-fabric switcheroo paid off.
Samanthais one of those designers who Iunderstandis a good designer but whose designs I dont fully get.
For example these cargo-inspired gaucho pants I dont get them.
But the judges are obsessed.
Aya even says the pants speak to the lives of real people.
I had no idea pants could do that.
Christian and Hannah say his proportions are off, and Kelly says he missed the bar.
Mayaalso created three separate looks, and the judges are fans of them all.
Christian says its perfectly editorial, and Aya says its rich and expensive-looking.
