Her husband, Vern McDade, told theLos Angeles TimesWoodell had battled cancer for the past 20 years.
She died on Sept. 29 at her home in Fallbrook, California.
Woodell portrayed Bobbie Jo, the clever brunette sister, onPetticoat Junctionalongside Linda Kaye Henning and Jeannine Riley.

The show debuted in 1963, and Woodell was replaced by Lori Saunders after season 2.
Woodell told theChicago Tribune, I was going nowhere with it.
After her departure, Woodell received minimal success with singing.
She later landed in a string of nudity- and violence-heavy films, like 1971sThe Big Doll House.
I have no delusions about this movie, she had said.
Never breaking through into the mainstream, Woodell eventually left acting in 1973.
She co-founded a business consulting firm and retired in 2013.
