In the wake ofa series of deadly attacks that struck Parison Friday, international premiere and press events in the city forBridge of SpiesandJane Got a Gunhave been canceled.

A spokesperson for Fox confirmed toPeopleandEntertainment Weeklythat the scheduled press conference, interviews, and Sundays Paris premiere for the Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg film have been dropped.

Additionally, French distributor Mars Distribution has canceled all interviews for Natalie PortmansJane Got a Gun, as well as the films premiere Monday.

Bridge of Spieshit U.S. theaters back in October and is scheduled to premiere in France on Dec. 2.Jane Got a Gun, meanwhile, will screen in French theaters starting Nov. 25.

These cancellations are the latest inan outpouring of supportfor the country, after a string of coordinated attacks in Paris left at least 127 people dead.

French President Francois Hollande, who had been evacuated from the Stade de France sports stadium after an explosion, said France would be ruthless in its response.

President Obama called the tragedy an attack on all of humanity, while celebrities andlate-night hostsalso extended their thoughts and prayers to France.
