Baby, we’re perfect

If you like causing trouble up in hotel rooms and having secret little rendezvous, One Directions music video for Perfect should hit the spot.

Released Tuesday, the black-and-white video features Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson goofing around New York Citys Intercontinental Hotel and doing what they like best.

In Horans case, that means a bit of golf and acoustic guitar, while Payne mixes music on his laptop, and Styles tries on some haute couture.

Tomlinson is seen kicking a soccer ball around, as is Payne, and the pair spend some time causing a little mischief together as they are wont to do.

Payne is also shown getting some of his latest ink the roman numerals are a memento of his audition number from the bandsX Factordays.

The video was directed by Sophie Muller, who is known for her collaborations with Beyonce, No Doubt, Shakira, Rihanna, Pink, Lana Del Rey, and more.

Written by Styles and Tomlinson alongside frequent collaborators Julian Bunetta, Jesse Shatkin, Jacob Kasher, John Ryan, and MoZella, Perfect is described in a press release as an emotionally charged ironic love song, something which is certainly reflected in the songs lyrics (And I might never be the one who brings you flowers / But I can be the one, be the one tonight), though the theme is not necessarily constant throughout the video.

An exception is when Styles sits moodily on his hotel bed, singing the verse many assume to be about his ex, Taylor Swift: And if you like cameras flashing every time we go out / And if youre looking for someone to write your breakup songs about / Baby, Im perfect / Baby, were perfect.

Not only is Perfectsonically similar to Style a title so obvious that Swiftjokingly considered calling it Im Not Even Sorry but fans have already noticed that the video for Perfect shares some visuals with Swifts own.http://www.harrystyles.ca/post/131583493776/richliam-one-direction-perfect-taylor-swift
