As hes born to Fiona (Black Fairy has such a pretty name!
), Blue and Tiger Lily appear.
Hes supposed to be the SAVIOR.
Failing, Rumple steps outside to sulk, but when he does, Blue wakes up.
She was the Black Fairy.
And David was actually Gideon is disguise.
Theyre going to get his heart back.
And to get the job done, Rumple sends himself, Emma, and Gideon into the dream world.
In her most trying of challenges to date, Zelena is trying to build a crib without magic.
Or at least the Allen wrench they promised would be in here tobegin with?
Yeah, crib-making is no joke.
But it makes Zelena wonder… How will she protect Robin?
Thats when Regina offers her a potential solution: a set of keys.
Tiger Lily promises that its the fairy godmothers job to protect the Savior, not his mothers.
Problem is, Zelena has no idea how to drive a car.
Watching Zelena learn basic human activities iseverything.
And that battle is approachingsoquickly.
Its at this moment that Gideon appears, and Gideon is actually pretty great.
He thanks Rumple for fighting for him, but he has no idea where his own heart is.
But Rumple does have one advantage discovering his mothers darkest secret: the reason she gave him up.
Gideon insists that he can discover the secret, if hes willing to face it.
But they have to find that wand, yall.
Well, shes ready to unleash a fury on a fairy.
But its nothing compared to Zelena in what feels like a lime green Vega GT Station Wagon.
Black Fairy disappears, but you know its only for a minute.
Bad news though: Black Fairy isnt working on a spell… shes working on a curse.
Thats right: A Saviors fate is to die.
But Black Fairy isnt having that.
She reaches into Tiger Lilys chest and rips out her heart.
In that moment, she makes the official transformation from Fiona to the Black Fairy.
The crescent appears on her wrist, and evil wasnt born in the winter.
And thats when its revealed: Black Fairy and Rumple are destined to destroy each other.
Emma is off the hook, but poor Rumple?
He has to go it alone.
But Black Fairy has more information to reveal.
Back in the sacred vault of fairies, Blue shows up and takes Tiger Lilys heart back.
Instead, Black Fairy breaks Rumples destiny so that they can be together.
She succeeds and keeps her power, but in doing so, the other fairies banish her.
You see, Rumple is getting pretty introspective about the whole situation.
Black Fairy asks for forgiveness, but Rumple is still pretty torn about the whole situation.
He explains that it was the dedication she had to Rumple that made Fiona the love of his life.
Of course, Rumples father immediately resents him, and he names him such.
In Storybrooke, Rumple shows up and announces that the Black Fairy has been banished for good.
Emma congratulates him, even calling him a Savior.
And Gideon is able to have his heart back.
Hooray for the return of Nice Gideon!
You have to wonder though… is Black Fairyactuallygone?
With that, Hook takes off (because its bad luck to see the bride before the wedding!
), and all is well, right?
He made a trade: Gideon is safe, Black Fairy is still around, and that Final Battle?
Oh, its on.
