The Brooklyn-based band’s frontman stops by EW’s studio.
A highlight off Brooklyn-basedOberhofers sophomore LPChronovision, is the ramshackle dirge Memory Remains.
Frontman Brad Oberhofer recently stopped by EWs Basement Studio to perform and introduce the track.

Its about how my dog died recently, the singer says of the songs inspiration.
It made me really sad.
Hes made my life better, and hes affected me as a person.
A stuffed, miniature dog sits next to him during the performance.
He continues, speaking about how even a bus driver honking intentionally could inspire a song of sorts.
Some people have more of a tendency toward writing longer songs.
I write a lot of songs, Oberhofer, who recorded an eyebrow-raising 106 demos forChronovision, says.
The ones that usually stick are ones founded upon melodies that come out of nowhere.
Ill realize after a week that Ive been humming the same melody over and over again.
