Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump has postponed his planned Friday announcement of his vice presidential running mate after a truck ran into a Bastille Day crowd in Nice, France, killing dozens.
In light of the horrible attack in Nice, France, I have postponed tomorrows news conference concerning my Vice Presidential announcement, Trump tweeted Thursday night.
The truck, reportedly filled with weapons, ran into a crowd of people observing the annual firework show on Frances national holiday; more than 70 people have been confirmed killed in the attack,according toThe New York Times.
