The studio behind one of last yearsmost celebrated games,The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, is set to unveil a brand new project this year.

As part ofan announcementoutlining CD Projekt Reds ambtiions for the next five years, the studio revealed that it will debut a new pop in of video game format previously unexplored by the Studio.

No other details were given about what exactly this project is, but the indication seems to be that it is not part ofThe Witcherfranchise or part of the studios other upcoming announced game,Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt is also set to release a new expansion forThe Witcher 3, Blood and Wine, sometime this year.

The games first expansion, Hearts of Stone, was released in October of 2015.The Witcher 3follows protagonist Geralt of Rivia who originally sets out on a personal quest before finding himself part of a much larger tale.

As part of this new outline, CD Projekt also revealed thatThe Witcherfranchise has in total sold more than 20 million copies.
