I dont think its just the affair thats the kicker here.
In this episode, it seems like Bishop and Gibbs react to emotional turmoil in the same way.
Theyre both pretty private people and dont really let that out, especially in the workplace.
… Hes just there to listen and talk about things.
Its not just a work relationship.

How was it having Lindsay Wagner play your mom?
Shes really wonderful, and we had a great time in Oklahoma together.
No big deal, the Bionic Woman is Bishops mom.
Do you think Bishops gotten a fair shake as a characterfrom some of the fans?
You get invested in these shows and you get very invested in the character.
And Ziva is such a wonderful character and Cote did such a great job with her.
What should we look forward to for the rest of the season?
Will we see more changes?
Will we see Bishop start to react to things differently as she struggles with the marital challenges?
Theres some fun stuff with Jeanne Benoit coming up with Tony, and the Delilah and McGee stuff.
It definitely affects her work, everything in her life.
Well, if its the end of Bishops marriage, that means no more JamieBamber?
Oh, that Jamie Bamber.
Hes so hard to look at; hes so hard to be around.
Its just so tough acting with that Jamie Bamber.
Were always working with the NSA, so Im sure well cross paths with him.
And hes so wonderful.
Do you see potential there?
