And that, my friend, is what we call closure.
SeveralNashvillerelationships are teetering the line of a pivotal make-it-or-break-it moment.
If Ross and Rachel taught us anything, its that people need closure.

And boy, did we get some closure.
Juliette and Avery
One of the more annoying members of Juliettes entourage welcomes her out of a drug-induced sleep.
She hands Juliette a few pills and a mimosa the breakfast of champions.
Juliette sees her red-faced reflection in the mirror and immediately flushes the pills down the toilet.
Juliette kicks herself for thinking that there was something going on between Avery and Emily.
She calls Emily to apologize and texts Avery with her new number, asking him if he can talk.
This sends Avery over the edge.
Hes not going to drop everything to be at her beck and call.
Especially since hes producing for Markus now.
You remember Markus, right?
Also, its best if you keep your mouth shut while Markus is working.
He probably only drinks the water with the special electrolytes too.
She fires everyone around her and rushes to the jet to head to Nashville.
She runs into Avery just as shes leaving.
She throws her arms around her husband and apologizes for everything shes done.
Avery asks for a divorce and full custody of the baby.
Scarlett is unable to bounce back from Deacons blatant dig on her ending her mothers life.
She melts down and leaves the house.
Deacon receives a call later from the local bartender.
Scarlett is drowning her troubles away, telling anyone who will listen about her unforgiving uncle.
Both are extremely emotional, but soon cradle each other in a hug.
I cried a little bit too.
Not only was it sad, but Scarletts shortalls brought a tear to my eye.
She has to fly right back home like a good little girl with access to a private jet.
When Luke goes downstairs to meet with the Coca-Cola reps, Maddie gives Colt the green light.
Or I should say that Maddies very revealing dress gives Colt the green light.
Nothing happens because Maddie gets scared.
To make her feel better, Juliette invites her up on stage to sing and Maddie shines.
Maddie is on an adrenaline rush afterwards, feeling very sexy.
Colt escorts her to the empty tour bus.
Nothing good ever happens on a tour bus.
Later, Luke finds them walking down the hall.
Hes livid and sends Maddie to the airport.
Colt smiles when she leaves.
Did Maddies v-card experience a closure of its own?
We dont know for sure.
Luke and His Right-Hand Woman
Gabriella is determined to re-brand Lukes image.
Lets hear it for Coca-Cola and Ford product placement, yall!
She also has to narrow down a list of potential CEOs for the label.
To no ones surprise, Jeff Fordham wants to be considered for the job.
He reminds Gabriella that he is a powerful business man.
Pay not attention to that pesky label that folded under his watch.
He has a Harvard business degree on the wall!
Gabriella thinks that Jeff is ideal for the job.
Gabriella wants to know if Jeff can put Luke first and keep his tongue out of Laylas mouth.
His answer is yes.
Layla brushes off Raynas concern and defends Jeff every step of the way.
Rayna continues to push, and Layla leaves to get some air.
When she comes back, she admits that Jeff is a horrible person.
Her head tells her to stop seeing him, but her heart wont let her.
Grab your guitar, because thats a bona fide lyric to a country song.
Layla and Rayna work through the afternoon and write sad lyrics about good-for-nothing Jeff.
Kevin and Will
Gunnar tags along with Kevin and Will on a road trip to Atlanta.
Their first order of business is to hear Luke sing their song.
The second order of business is to get Gunnar laid.
This surprises Kevin, but everyone moves on in the spirit of Gunnars libido.
Newsflash: She initially turns Gunnar down and then changes her mind after Juliette fires her.
Will is not as enthusiastic at this news.
He wants to keep the song for himself so he can sing it on stage one day.
Kevin tries to rain on this particular parade, reminding Will that writing songs is a perfectly good occupation.
Will thinks its settling.
It may not be actual closure, but its definitely a step in that direction.
What did you think?
Will Jeff dump Layla?
Is this the end of Juliette Barnes career?
Do I need to embrace the shortalls?
Even if they are making a comeback, Im not sure I can do that.
