That was amazing, Malek told Downey in the interview.
You turned me into a hero when you came to set.
They were like, You know him?
How do you know him?'
And once their friendship became public, Malek noticed a change on and off set.
Maybe I elaborated on our relationship too much and started fantasizing it was more than it actually was.
In aninterview with EWlast month, Malek praised Downey, calling him a role model for any actor.
