The follow-up to 2008sDeath Magneticwill span two discs and nearly 80 minutes of music.
Metallica also debuted the title track, Hardwired, on Minneapolis 93X earlier today.
Hardwired…represents the next phase of our journey as Metallica, the band wrote.
Metallica began teasing their next album in earnest last October, when Hetfield said the band wasrecording new material.
