And then when he announced that he was running for president, it became more clear, she said.

I was never going to love him, and I was never going to hate him.
Kelly has previously displayed her refusal to coddle Trump, like at Augusts Republican debate.
Kelly eventually responded to the backlash by sticking with her words.
And Mr. Trump, I expect, will continue with what has been a successful campaign thus far.
This is a tough business and its time now to move forward.
