Mark and Jay Duplass, the duo behind HBOsTogetherness, will publish an essay collection with Ballantine Books in 2017.

According to the press release, the brothers essays will be a highly personal exploration of the messiness and awkwardness of life complete with sincere anecdotes, goofy moments, and funcomfortable episodes that chart their journey of collaboration, which began when they were kids with a movie camera in New Orleans.

As in their film and television projects, the brothers will wrestle with what it means to be a good friend, husband, father, and brother, and what its like to collaborate so intimately with a sibling that you desperately love, but sometimes want to murder.

The yet-untitled collection is slated for a 2017 publication and if its anything like the brothers bizarrely entertaining films (Safety Not Guaranteed, The Skeleton Twins), we have some weird laughs ahead.
