At least, according to Kevin Smith.
Then we take it out into the world and find a home for it.

So, instead of doing aMallratsmovie, Im going to do 10 episodes of aMallratsseries.
Smithfirst announcedthat he was working on aMallratssequel in 2015, 20 years after the original was released.
Months later, he shared his 113-page draft for the script,entitledMallbrats.
Never in the history of the studio,' Smith said.
So we entered a protracted negotiation with Universal trying to get it made in different pockets of the studio.
Apparently, the current pocket is in television.
