Let me start with a brief recap of how the show ended before the hiatus.

In the process they gave up Dmitris name and signed a deal.

Ding dong, the witch is dead.

I understand the politics of why they need to stand by Ukraine, but its pretty infuriating.

Bess stops Melniks plane in Switzerland and has an even less successful conversation with him about the attack.

Now for the worst news of the episode: The DIA confirms that Dmitri is dead.

Maybe Im in a state of denial, but I am not 100 percent convinced that hes gone.

Something seems off with the way that went down.

Clearly Henry doesnt handle the news well and we see him struggle with it throughout the episode.

In the end, he quits the DIA, which is probably a smart move.

Melnik reluctantly agrees after Bess threatened to pull US advisers out of Ukraine.

As if her job werent hard enough, right?

Essentially the suits that are already up there are too bulky to pass over to the trapped passengers.

The suits could save the three other passengers.

The US blocked China from participating in the ISS and now they need help saving it.

Russia agrees to let the suits go up as long as they get sole credit for saving the astronauts.

Finally, everyone agrees to the terms.

Its kind of amazing how six lives are on the line and all anyone can think about is themselves.

Politics, am I right?

What happened next was pretty amazing, though.

Finally … we get a moment of real peace between Russia and the US.

Im getting tired of sending good people to their deaths, Dalton says.

The new president agrees and it seems like they finally might find a compromise.

Before I wrap this up, I want to talk about whats happening with Bess and Henry.

Plus, my heart pretty much melted when Henry said, Youre not getting rid of me that easy.
