But in the nearly three decades since, its become a cult favorite.
Rumors of anotherLabyrinthmoviebubbled up in October 2014.
Its unclear whether that project will move forward.
Perlman is firmly planted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Sony Pictures TriStars parent company and The Jim Henson Company declined to comment.
