When the bolt drops, a fighter can let go of everything else and focus solely on their instincts.

They have to take out the guy in front of them.

It truly is as simple as that.

But say you do take that guy out.

Then the cage door opens … and what?

Is your life all that different?

Is winning all that you thought it would be?

This is also the first time we hear him speak openly about Lisa.

Well, after he heads down to the police station to help with the Chapas case.

So yeah, hes probably fine.

Ryans focused on his knee, which seems fine but not great.

Jay, however, is focused on nothing but the fight.

(Well, that and maybe a picture of Avas breasts.)

Of course that only pisses Jason off, so he tries to stop her from attending Jays fight.

(The bar at the arena only serves wine and beer.)

He avoids answering, simply saying that hes more worried about whos going to lose.

Changing the suspect, she says shes sorry about Lisa, alerting him to the fact that everyone knows.

But its when he asks about her father that we get more information about Alicias childhood.

When Alvey asks, How fked up was your father?

Alicias curious as to why hed think he was fked up.

And this leads me to one of my favorite lines.

I married one, he says, referring to Ava.

Its the Christina quality.

Its a close fight.

Ryan seems a bit wobbly after round one, but Jay barely escapes a choke hold in round two.

After that, Nate tells his brother that he has to go after Ryans knee.

F your conscience, Nate tells Jay.

This is a fight, and Ryans coming after him.

As soon as the bell rings, Jay starts kicking Ryans leg.

But Jay also cant bring himself to break his brothers arm.

So instead, he puts Ryan to sleep, thereby becoming the new lightweight champion of the world.

And yet, its not the sort of celebration youd expect from Jay.

But inside Ryans house, Alveys focus is on the rematch.

Ryans going to get another shot.

As for the leg?

Ryan gets 48 hours to feel like s, and then they get back to it.

Just as Alveys on his way out, Ryan asks if Alveywantsto be his coach.

Leaving him with Joe Daddy isnt good enough for Ryan.

I needed you tonight, he tells Alvey.

But Alvey stands his ground: You fought my son, Ryan.

Needless to say I doubt this is the last well hear about this.

And yet, thats not something he can control.

No, hes not dead.

But its probably safe to say Christinas done with that facility.

Sure, Ryans bummed, but theyre already talking about a rematch.

As for Jay, will he wake up tomorrow and still feel good about what he did?
