Contrary to Uptons tweet, Porcello received eight first-place votes, while Verlander scored 14.
However, Porcello notched 18 second-place votes.
Two of the 30 voters did not vote for Verlander at all, as Upton noted.
The 24-year-old also retweeted Verlanders brother Ben, who shared stats comparing all the vote-getters.
(Kaepernick was protesting the treatment of people of color in the United States.)
Sitting down during the national anthem on September 11th is even more horrific.
