Been wondering how to mark Snapes birthday without starting an argument.
Heres to him, the big hero/bully.
He really was the best/worst, the authortweeted.

Snape died for Harry out of love for Lily [Harrys mother].
Harry paid him tribute in forgiveness and gratitude, she wrote at the time.
Rowling added, Snape is all grey.
You cant make him a saint: he was vindictive & bullying.
You cant make him a devil: he died to save the wizarding world …
In honoring Snape, Harry hoped in his heart that he too would be forgiven.
The deaths at the Battle of Hogwarts would haunt Harry forever.
Hero or bully, best or worst, his birthday is still Jan. 9.
