Because this is only the halfway point of the first season, the showdown doesnt end in death.

The raid is a good excuse for M.K.

When Quinn returns to his residence, his wife Lydia is not too happy to see him.

This show is so bonkers, you guys.

Anyway, she sees only one option to save Ryders life.

Like I said: bonkers.

Veil agrees, somewhat reluctantly, to help her out.

Then he drops a bit of a bomb: He knows that she and Sunny are together.

Quinn leaves it at that though, which is typical.

Hed rather hold something over you than immediately act on it.

When Ryder wakes up though, Quinn is ready to get some information.

NEXT: Meeting for the mind

Meanwhile, M.K.

is being his hasty self and trying to rush his training.

Apparently they dont haveThe Karate Kidin the Badlands.

Will he finally learn?

Still, Sunny is trying to teach him patience, and maybe just being in his presence will help.

He takes him to Veils place, as Sunny needs to get sown up.

When hes there, M.K.

Thats for later though.

Shes disappointed that the son shes spent so much time defending cant even think for himself.

Also, I kind of feel bad for Ryder?

Hes got some seriously terrible parents.

After Sunny gets all stitched up he organizes a meeting with Zephyr, an old flame of his.

He wants her to clip Quinn, to get rid of the worst Baron of the bunch.

The question that remains though is: How long will Quinn be around for someone to kill him?

Whatever happens, Quinn is doing everything he can to stay alive.

At the end of the episode he makes his way to Veils office.

Initially its a threatening scene.

Hes seen that Ryder is healed, and now he wants Veil to do the same for him.

Will Veil do it?

Will she save the man who she and Sunny are trying to escape?

And what about M.K.

finding out about Quinns tumor?

As this season reaches its halfway point, there are a lot of pieces that seem ready to collide.
