(Sidenote: Doyles mother is played by Ann Cusack, which is an awesome cameo!)
At the mothers incredibly beautiful stone mansion, Hank and Nick sense that Doyle is acting fishy.
Before heading off, Nick and Hank get Doyles shirt from him to test the blood on it.
What exactly is Doyle trying to cover up here?
Just as the gang suspected, the blood on the shirt is from two people other than Doyle.
It leads them to two dead hikers who have been viciously mauled to death.
Monroe and Rosalee realize right away that this is the case of a lycanthrope.
As Hank describes it, its a Blutbad on steroids.
Ann Cusack is a werewolf!
The race is on!
Out of nowhere, mama lycanthrope leaps out of the darkness and attacks Wu.
Nick is forced to shoot her, and Doyle howls over her as she dies.
(This was almost as depressing as the end of the Chupacabra episode from last season.)
Heres the real kicker, though.
Come on, Wu!
Youve been around the block long enough to know that you dont just ignore a scratch from a wesen.
Was he not present last week when Monroe almost died from a wesen bite?
Can we talk about Renard and how deep of a hole hes digging himself into right now?
Naturally, Adalind is pissed and wants her daughter back immediately.
