It was the best yet, which is pretty impressive for a show in their fifth season.
What made it so wonderful?
Okay, Ill stop gushing now.

The episode kicked off with Hank getting a call saying police have been dispatched to his home.
There are two other cops on the scene from the North Portland precinct.
They arrest Hank, saying that a neighbor positively identified him running from the house after hearing gunshots.
Its obvious that this is Black Claws doing.
We know they are trying to get to all of the members of Nicks group.
Hank isnt the only one who Black Claw has been keeping an eye on.
If they didnt believe it before, they should all understand how much danger they are in now.
The cops there start woging and taunting him and it becomes clear that they are all Black Claw members.
Hes tied up and they keep saying that they are waiting for Conrad to arrive.
They immediately know something isnt right.
If Conrad were truly coming to the house, there wouldnt have been merely two guards there.
In a roundabout way, it was.
That alone is enough to send Nick over the edge.
Is it just me, or is Renard really starting to become an unredeemable character?
Shes been threatened by Conrad to do a better job at pretending to love Renard.
This guy has got to go.
Diana is continuing to be incredibly creepy.
This is seven levels of weird that Im not even going to get into.
Those on Dianas bad side dont fare so well in this episode.
I guess that ties up the Rachel and Renard story line.
Trubel shows up at Monroe and Rosalees house right before shes about to tell him that shes pregnant.
If they fell into the wrong hands (especially the grimm book), it could be disastrous.
Several of the North precinct Black Claw members come marching into the station to take Nick away.
They claim that they have some paper saying he needs to be transferred.
Wu turns into beasty-Wu and kills them with ease.
They suspect that Nick was taken to the North precinct station.
A bunch of Black Claw members and Conrad have Nick tied up there.
This joker is way more powerful than we previously thought.
Frightened and distraught, it looks like Nick is actually considering that trade.
A huge fire-fight ensues, and when Conrad attempts to escape the building, Eve follows him.
Unfortunately, even though she gets some good punches in, she doesnt realize how strong he is.
He flings broken glass at her, stabbing her in the stomach and getting away.
The others run to her side, but shes bleeding heavily.
They have to get to a safe place and they cant take her to a doctor.
We see a little bit of compassion again from Renard when he asks Conrad to stop.
At Nicks house, Nick frantically rushes down to the tunnel to retrieve the miracle stick to heal Eve.
When he puts it on her, it first appears like its healing her as it did Monroe.
What kind of reaction to the stick is that?
Is it because shes a hexenbiest?
No sooner does she disappear do they see Black Claw members surrounding the building.
Nick insists that they all go into the tunnels to hide.
How very noble of him.
Somehow, Nicks able to fight most of them off in yet another amazing fight scene.
It looks like Nick has the upper hand, until he gets shot in the back.
He falls to the ground and looks like hes dying… until he gets back up.
I was admittedly shocked because I forgot about the miracle stick he had in his jacket pocket.
Hallelujah, Nick is saved.
It was a beautiful and tender moment amidst all of the chaos of the episode.
What kind of drama would that bring about in the next season?
I smell a love triangle.
Meanwhile, back up in Nicks home, Conrad and Renard appear to take down Nick.
Are you ready for the twist?
Little do they know, Diana has seen the marks on Adalinds neck from Conrad strangling her.
The episode ends with Renard and Nick just staring at each other, clearly not knowing what to think.
As far as Nick knows, Renard killed Conrad to save his life.
Will that redeem Renard in Nick and Co.s eyes?
Probably not, but it might save Renards neck for a little while.
However, Im guessing it wont take long for Nick to figure out what Diana did.
The truth always comes out in the end.
