Were you surprised she went through with it?

She needs to ultimately give him what hes asking for.
But that was not what happened, so I was very surprised by that.
But I was also very surprised to discover that she was pregnant.
Theres this incredibly hopeful beacon of light in the midst of tragedy.
How is April dealing in the wake of signing the papers, especially knowing that shes pregnant?
Youre going to see an April that you dont expect.
She is more resilient than shes ever been.
This baby really is this thing that is keeping her heart pulled together.
She has a tremendous amount of hope and gratitude.
Shes embracing this baby as her great gift in the midst of this pain.
Youll see her not really falling a part so much right off the bat.
Shes there at work.
Shes being kickass like she is.
Shes in ORs doing awesome surgeries.
Shes doing her job well.
Shes keeping her s together.
Does she almost not want it that way?
Thats something that we talk about in the next couple of episodes, for sure.
The end of this episode is not the end of anything.
It is the beginning of a much bigger story.
The next eight episodes, theres a lot of story that happens.
This is really just a jumping-off point.
Does the divorce shake her faith at all?
Thats at least my perspective.
Its not necessarily something April talks about out loud, but its how Ive been approaching these next episodes.
The way that she handles this pregnancy is going to be very surprising to a lot of people.
Is there a future in which we see either of them dating elsewhere?
Sure, I guess so, thats always a possibility.
