The Grammys always like to spring surprises on viewers.

But we now feel that we need to stay with the times, Ehrlich says.

There is certain news value to having an artist do something thats never been seen anywhere.

So, Im open to things like that.

This year there are a couple things that we are going do that do fit that mold.

But were talking about having that movie represented in one way or another on the show.

Electric dance music will get its due

We dont ever really do well with EDM.

It doesnt work on television, Ehrlich says.

But its become a huge factor in the world of music.

Were going do it in a way that people again have never seen.

The insurance is Justin Bieber.

A Kanye West performance?

Outlook hazy

Were talking.

Thats all I can say, Ehrlich admits.

Weve probably had as much to do with his success as anybody.

He broke through because he came on our stage and did Jesus Walks.

And then the next year he did the thing with Jamie Foxx.

I think hes really an interesting artist.

Thats just hard for me.

The 58th Annual Grammy Awardswill be held Monday, Feb. 15, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
