You cannot do better thanThe Hobbit.
Another book I read to my kids
Randall JarrellsThe Animal Familyis a lesser-known all-time great.
There isnt anybody in my family who doesnt loveThe Animal Family.
My favorite book I read for school
I can tell you it wasntThe Witch At Blackbird Pond.
I may be one of those writers.
The classic Ive never been able to read
Ulysses.
Ive read the first four chapters at least three times.
The classic Ive pretended to have read
The last 14 chapters ofUlysses.
A movie adaptation I loved
P.T.
Its a mysterious, crazy, brilliant movie.
I cant imagine trying to adapt Pynchon for the screen, no less succeeding at it.
Joaquin Phoenix, Josh Brolin, Katherine Waterston, Owen Wilson the whole cast was gonzo and perfect.
The imaginary place I dream of moving to
Westeros.
But I fear without tremendous good fortune Id be beheaded quickly.
I could read them until the day I die, and not only because of their length.
A book Ive returned to time and time again
W. Somerset MaughamsThe Razors Edge.
It has meant something different to me with every read.
It makes your heart bigger.
On another note,Anna Kareninais the only book that has made me cry from happiness.
Do I read my books post-publication?
I read sections and all I can think of is changing them.
Its a very unpleasant experience.
What Im reading now
