The Television Academy officially opened the ballot for thefirst round of votingfor the 68th Emmy Awards on Monday.
Members of the Academy can vote for which shows and performers will move on to the official nominees list.
Ever an Emmy contender,Modern Familyhas once again thrown every player into the ring for nomination consideration.

Well, every player except Sarah Hyland and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.
A rep for Hyland was unavailable for comment.
In a twist, Lifetimes witty and dark dramedyUnREALdecided not to pit its two lead actresses against one another.
Presumably, the rationale here is to give both actresses a chance to earn nominations and possible gold.
Not far behind him is recentKeanustar Keegan-Michael Key with four entries.
Its only a coincidence that four of the 12 choices are former cast members, right?
His gig as Will Gardner previously earned him Best Supporting Actor in a Drama nominations in 2011 and 2014.

The 68th Emmy Awards will take place on Sunday, Sept. 18 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
