But Im lucky; I had the resources and support to get treatment at a top facility.
Untreated mental illness can lead to devastating consequences including suicide, substance abuse, and long-term medical issues.
She called on lawmakers and the public to be more proactive.
We can do better.
This is not about politics.
Its simply the right thing to do.
