Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable and his employment with ESPN has been terminated.
The post, screencapped byseveral media outlets, was ultimately deleted.

After the post sparked controversy, Schilling took tohis personal blogto argue that he was merely expressing his opinion.
I dont care and I never have.
I have opinions, but theyre just that, opinions, he wrote.

This isnt the first time ESPN reprimanded Schilling for a social media post.
