The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Timeis set to close on Broadway on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, after 23 previews and 800 regular performances.
The award-winning play originally opened at Londons National Theatre, before transferring to the West End where it still plays regularly.
Since its official stateside opening in October 2014 at the Barrymore Theatre,The Curious Incidenthas established itself as the longest-running play on Broadway in more than 10 years.

It garnered five Tony Awards in 2015, including Best Play, as well as six Drama Desk Awards, five Outer Critics Circle Awards, and the Drama League Award for Outstanding Production of a Broadway or off-Broadway play.
Directed by Tony Award winner Marianne Elliott and written by Tony Award winner Simon Stephens, the current production stars Tyler Lea, Rosie Benton (Stick Fly), Andrew Long (The Iceman Cometh), Enid Graham (The Constant Wife), and Nancy Robinette.
Based on Mark Haddons best-selling novel about an autistic 15-year-old boy named Christopher who comes under suspicion for killing a neighbors dog, the play tells the story of what happens when Christopher sets out to find the truth of what happened, and how his discoveries change his life.
