CHRISTOPHER MELONI: It was based on the first episode.
I thought there was a lot of other ways you could go with the character.

Why is this the first time in recent years that the subject of slavery has been tackled on TV?
Where do you see your character going from here?

Thats an easy answer: I have no fing idea.
Oddly enough, you just slip into the clothes and you kind of find yourself.
So yeah it was easy, it was like going back to your first acting studio or going home.

What about jumping back and forth between comedy and drama do you enjoy so much?
Well, dont you like to try something new?
So I like them both.
So you dont prefer one over the other?
The preference is I like to do the one that Im not doing at the time.
What was it like working onVeep?
Everything that you hear is that its unlike working on any other show.
Yeah, then youve heard right.
And the writers will jot down things that strike them as funny that come out of you.
What do you think your character, Ray, is up to now?
Hes absolutely training senators and their wives.
Hes absolutely in the mix.
Do you think you will return toSVUat some point before the show ends?
I just recently was talking about that.
Its not up to me, Ill just say that.
Ive said my peace on it.
What drew you toI Am Wrath?
I appreciated the character that they left me to do.
What was it like working with John?
Its the first time weve worked together and it was just kind of effortless.
Hes a very generous guy to work with.
Obviously very smart, very cool, professional.
I enjoyed playing with him, it was great.
I know its going to be in an exotic local.
I know that every character that is presented in the script is hilarious.
Theres about 15 characters and theyre all hilarious.
And Im expecting for it to be a great experience and a lot of fun.

This is Goldies first film in nearly 15 years will you get the chance to work with her much?
Oh, Ill be working with Goldie, dont you worry about that.
