Britney Spears remarkable life story is getting the Lifetime treatment.

will play the pop princess in the two-hour film.
The Lifetime announcement comes just two days before the release ofSpears ninth studio album,Glory.
She will also perform at Sundays MTV VMAs.
The shows executive producer, Jesse Ignjatovic, is thrilled for what Spears has in store.
