We open in a flashback with Danny and Eve together.
He wants Nolan to see his new restaurant.

Danny smokes and considers and says, We all get the family that God dumps on us.
This is the first of many possible mottos for this television program.
This is what shes apparently remembering as she stretches naked across a bed and eats pizza.
Shes with (drum roll) Ozzy!
This makes some sort of sense.
Shes like, hey look at how great I look naked!
(She does.)
And she calms him right down.
She tells him to trust her.
He needs to go to drug counseling, and he cannot mess up again.
Belle is all, oh believe me he wont.
Meanwhile Sally is still having bungalow 3 problems.
She later yells at a guy on her maintenance crew who says she never called.
Is Sally losing her mind?
John meets with some people about his campaign.
Kevin goes to support meeting and meets a friendly dude named Doug.
Kevin is doing the newbie, oh Im just here because I have to be.
Doug is all, oh yeah sure.
After Belle picks him up, she asks if he talked.
Current Sheriff Aguirre holds a press conference.
Johns face sort of lets us know how not great this is.
Meg is like, you should drop out which seems totally reasonable.
John, still not telling them everything, tells them he needs to think.
Sally is with Belle, who is getting some tests regarding the baby.
Belle is like, lady, this kind of behavior is why your kids are all such wrecks.
Kevin needs her support.
Sally, hilariously, is like, lets not turn this into a drama.
Is she watching the same show as we are?
John goes creeping through the evidence room, searching for the smoking gun, a.k.a.
that blackmail tape Danny made.
Kevin is working out on the docks.
Hes feeling sober and maybe not so thrilled about it.
Or maybe he just saw the young version of Danny walking toward him.
Its Nolan, and he wants a job.
Nolan attitudes back, and Kevin laughs at how strong DNA can be.
We flash back to a younger, less pierced and angry Nolan.
Back in the present, Meg goes to see John.
She is rightfully pissed and slaps him.
You should have told us, she says, giving another possible show motto.
He tells her how much Nolan looks and acts like Danny.
Belle suggests inviting him to dinner.
Then he remembers hes a man living on thin ice and agrees.
Meg and John go see this Roy Gilbert character and guess what?
It is Beau freakin Bridges!
He is gravelly and rich, and apparently has some history with Robert Rayburn.
Marco brings in our pal Eric ODirtbag.
They have a little chat.
Eric stays pretty chill, but the wheels in his mind are clearly turning.
NEXT: Meg meets Nolans mom
Eve is sitting at a bar and meets Meg.
Eve looks genuinely stunned to hear it.
John is friendly enough and suggests a few hotels.
He does give the car a second look, perhaps remembering it was the same one Danny once had?
And now on to this episodes most heartbreaking scene: Danny teaching Nolan how to chop vegetables.
John calls Marco in to talk about Eric ODirtbag being brought in.
It gets tense before John is all, dont let the door hit you on the way out.
Eric continues to wander adrift, this time to his sisters house.
She is like, time to go big bro.
She wants no part of whats up.
Poor Eric really does seem to be at a loss as to what the hell is going on.
He is asking questions though, like about the last time Chelsea heard from Danny.
(Danny, one ofthoseguys.)
Kevin cant deal with his life or his sobriety and takes a swig of tequila at work.
Unfortunately creeper Nolan saw the whole thing.
Shes like, not Johns style.
Roy says something intriguing about how John is not the most like Robert.
(Sidenote: I miss Sam Shepard.)
John is out with Jane when Ozzy continues to show up and mess with him.
I wouldnt have continued with the look that crosses Johns face, but Ozzy sort of saunters away.
Sally gets yelled at again about the damn shower in bungalow 3.
This dude is like were out.
Marco shows up at Megs.
He tells her he may need her to come in to keep talking about Dannys case.
She stares at him, and he stares at her, and oh boy.
She invites him in, but he says no and she apologizes for her behavior the other night.
Hes like, like never again.
And now its time for dinner at Belle and Kevins.
Its very tense though Belle doesnt know why.
Im officially team Nolan over here.
Meg sits around and drinks more of her bottle of red wine and then calls Roy.
She meets him and he hands her an envelope full of secrets about the Aguirre family.
Oh Rayburns, will you never learn?
