Ben Carson recentlytook the polling leadin the Republican presidential nominee race from this weeksSNLhost Donald Trump, but apparently thats not enough for the retired neurosurgeon.
The ad,streaming below via ABC News, features rapping by Aspiring Mogul interspersed with clips of Carson stump speeches.
It is purposefully aimed at young black voters, a non-traditional voting market for Republicans, according to Carson campaign spokesman Doug Watts.

The goal of the ad, he says, is reaching them on a level they appreciate and follow and see if we can attract their consciousness about the election.
This happens to be a group that we feel pretty strongly is ready and prepared to start working for Ben Carson,Watts told ABC News.
