Its official: The fourth season ofBeauty and the Beastwill be the last.
The CW has confirmed the next season of the crime-fantasy-romance will be the final outing for Catherine and Vincent.
The final season will be 13 episodes and will air either in midseason or next summer.

A premiere date will be announced at a later time.
In a way, fans are fortunate to have had the series for four seasons.
The good news: The show is still in production, and wont wrap until next month.
So producers have enough notice to craft a series finale that gives fans some closure.
