Unclear if Nolan actually said ‘Yes’

Zack Snyder isnt afraid of controversy.

His second movie was an adaptation of a terrible graphic novel by famously cantankerous comic book legend Frank Miller.

His third movie was an adaptation of a brilliant graphic novel by equally cantankerous comic book legend Alan Moore.

His fourth movie had the words owls and GaHoole in the title.

According to Snyder, he laid it out for Nolan very simply.

You tell me if you dont want me to do it, said Snyder.

Nolan responded: Well, we dont own these characters.

When youre done making Batman movies, someone else will.

Zacks a great friend, Nolan said in a2014 USA Today interview.

And I know Ben [Affleck] and hes just an extraordinary guy.
