The gritty darkness ofBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceis palpable through all of the movies trailers.
Batman v Supermanis a bit of anEmpire Strikes BackorTwo Towersor any similar middle film in a trilogy.
The middle film tends to be the darkest one.
I do think fromMan of SteelthroughJustice League, it is one saga really,he toldThe Wall Street Journal.
I expectJustice Leaguewill be tonally not quite as dark asBatman v Superman.
But I do think fans deserve that.
