But make no mistake: Lost Souls is a Felicity story.

And what exactly is that predicament?

She doesnt just politely tell Oliver his particular set of skills are best used somewhere else, though.

Felicity shuts Oliver down, telling him hes of no help in an uncharacteristically angry fashion.

Instead, she enlists Curtis help.

So its time to enlist the help of the Green Arrow.

Except theres actually one more issue to contend with.

Felicitys mother, Donna, is back in town.

(ASIDE: Apparently she and Oliver have been texting and building a budding friendship.

END ASIDE) She wants to spend some quality time with her daughter.

Along for the ride is Sara Lance, back in costume, and adjusting to actually walking around again.

Thea locates it just as guards begin unloading clips in her and Saras direction.

She has to be snapped out of it so she doesnt kill him with the mission already successfully completed.

Yes, he appears on Rays video feed, only further sending Felicity into a state of panic.

Oliver, however, takes this as good news because they can use Quentin to investigate Damien for them.

But that will require some time that Felicity does not want to waste.

Oliver tries to keep her mind off of the current peril by suggesting she have dinner with her mother.

Maybe Oliver could even join them because, well…he already scheduled the dinner.

But because domesticated Ollie was such a natural homemaker, he decides to help whip something up.

And its not what Oliver expects.

The issue is that Felicity blames herself.

She didnt second guess the lack of a body because she was so wrapped up in their relationship.

NEXT: Saving Ray requires everyone in the field even Curtis.

He speeds off, allowing Quentin to fulfill his true objective.

(Good thing hes such a loyal employee.)

Hes put on his suit, and they eventually free him from his miniature cube of a prison.

Less successful is Saras fight, as she gives into the Pits bloodlust and snaps a Ghosts neck.

Yes, her stay onArrowis short-lived.

Luckily, things look better for Olicity than for some of the legends in their lives.

She thanks him for his understanding; he apologizes for not being the greatest listener.

They patch things up, as the camera pans away from content not CW-appropriate.

But love rests in the air of Star City for a few others.

Hopefully she can keep the Pits pull under control while hes around.

The two commiserate about their respective family predicaments.

Lance introduces himself, as does his new friend, Donna Smoak.

Looks like Felicitys mom has more than one reason to stick around for a while.
